The Driving Zone: Essential Techniques For New Drivers

The Dale Earnhardt Foundation has partnered with five-time road racing champion, and 2005 Speed World Challenge GT Champion GM/Cadillac Racing, Andy Pilgrim for a thirty-minute educational video for new drivers.

The presentation has an introduction by Teresa Earnhardt, President and CEO of Dale Earnhardt, Inc. and Founder/Chairman of The Dale Earnhardt Foundation, along with her daughter, Taylor. They are joined by Dale Earnhardt, Jr. as he assists Pilgrim in the instructional portions.

In the video, Pilgrim discusses issues pertinent to new drivers. He addresses everything from “internal distractions” to his “3-2-1-Go” method utilized before getting behind the wheel of a vehicle.

The Dale Earnhardt Foundation is proud to help make this video possible, both as a valuable teaching and training aid for today’s young driver, but also in the hope that the lessons taught will reduce highway accidents involving young drivers and ultimately save lives. The Foundation supports charitable causes regarding children and their education. A portion of the proceeds will directly fund the continuation of those efforts.
