Dale Earnhardt Foundation CONNECT Scholarship

The Department of Forestry and Environmental Resources at North Carolina State University has developed a program, CONNECT, which reaches out to our environmental leaders of tomorrow. For students who know they have a passion for the environment or working outdoors, discovering the right educational path can open a world of career options. In the College of Natural Resources, students find a home that provides a comprehensive educational experience and prepares them for success after graduation.

For a select group of students the CONNECT program offers a path in becoming a student in one of the degree programs within the department: Forest Management, Natural Resources (Ecosystem Assessment or Policy & Administration), Environmental Technology & Management, and Fisheries, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology.

The Dale Earnhardt Foundation’s CONNECT Scholarship gives students the opportunity to experience hand-on learning, in-the-field training and access to industry experts, equipping students to provide solutions to the challenges of natural resources use and management, social and ecological sustainability, and human health and well-being.
